Here is part two of my favorite fall polishes for this year.
First is Holo Taco Inkwell. I think this may be my top favorite of the bunch. Holo Taco describes this as a blackened sepia with a rich bronze shimmer that mimics a flicker of candlelight. This is opaque in 2 coats. It is a dark color but not the type that looks black in some lighting. The shimmer is gorgeous.
Here is part 1 of my favorites for this fall. Each swatch photo of the skin tone is separate so you can save them for future reference.
First is Lights Lacquer Affogato. This is described as a warm tone sepia. This is opaque in 2 coats. The formula is easy to apply, especially with the wide brush.
To celebrate, I created this press-on set. It is very simple yet cute. The nails I am using are from Supplies by Chloe in extra short short short sqaure. The red base is Lights Lacquer Ace. The blue base is Lights Lacquer Sunday in Santorini (my absolute favorite!) And for the white, I used Lights Lacquer Paper Snow. To stamp the stars and stripes, I used Maniology stamping polish in Bam! White. The plate was from UberChic Beauty called Uber Mini: Fourth of July. I topped the stamped nails with the smudge free top coat from maniology first before using a non wipe gel top coat by Supplie by Chloe.

Today, I am showing you two polishes that I purchased from Holo Taco's new collection for Valentine's Day. The collection is called Love at first swipe. They consist of 5 magnetic polishes and 1 topper. They also introduced their horseshoe magnet called Super Magnet. I already own a horsehow magnet from ILNP so I used that for the photos. I apologize for not being able to capture the magnetic effect well. I am still trying to figure out how to take better photos for different finishes.
Lights Lacquer's first collection of 2026 is their Core Collection. This is meant to be colors that they feel you need. The collection consists of 5 new shades and 7 returning bestsellers. I purchased 8 shades, one of them being a backup, and another I thought I had before, but turned out I didn't. The last two are shades I already had (along with the backup bottle of a color). Please excuse my cuticles. I was having an allergic reaction to dish soap.
Last three days! For day 10 we have a multi chrome flake topper called Wreath Havoc Taco. I used 1 coat over a black.
Sorry I completely forgot to post yesterday's advebt calendar item.
For day 8 we got a travel size hand lotion in peppermint scent. Holo Taco does not sell the lotion in travel size so this is limited edition. I have tried their original when it first came out but was not in love with the greasy feeling I was left with. I am excited to try this though. Paired with the peppermint cuticle oil from Lights Lacquer, I am ready for the holidays.
Today's box brings us a clean up brush. The case is all silver. I wish it had snowflakes or something in it to show it being a holiday edition but I can always put some nail stickers on it. The weight is the same as the original one.
I have not tried it yet but no doubt it works well. I don't think any brush would beat the e.l.f. concealer brush but this brush is designed to handle acetone and will last longer.
Day 6 for the Holo Taco Advent Calendar was on the back of the cover. It is 3 sheets of star stickers. I just took a photo of them because I wanted to try to come up with nail art using it later on. I am honestly surprised we got 3 sheets. Usually brands give 1 sheet of stickers. The style of the stickers are nice for quick nail art. I would have loved to see some snowflake ones as well but again, I am just happy we got 3 sheets.

Would you use these? I am thinking these are nice for a nativity scene nail art.
Oh today we have a blue frosted metal for day 5. This is called In A Flurry. This took 4 coats to be opaque. You can probably get away with 3 if you have short nails. For me, the formula was too thick and took very long to dry. I have this on my nails right now and even with a quick dry top coat, it took too long to dry where it does not dent. I tried to stay away from this type of formula because it is a pain to take off (i probably have 1 other polish with this formula). I will say, the shine is insanely beautiful. No top coat on these swatches.
